Landscape design, installation and maintenance

Ten years of building gardens across Gujarat, bungalows, farmhouses, resorts, company campuses and party plots. Design through maintenance, by one in house team.

What we do

Most gardens are built once. Ours are built to be kept.

A landscape is easy to install and hard to sustain. Turf goes in green and thins within two summers. Beds look full on handover and are half empty by the next monsoon. Trees are planted at the wrong spacing and start competing with each other in year three.

We design for what the garden becomes, not just how it looks on day one. Species are chosen for mature size and for Gujarat’s heat. Irrigation is laid before planting, not retrofitted. Soil is corrected first, because nothing survives poor soil for long.

Then we stay. Scheduled maintenance is the difference between a garden that matures and one that has to be rebuilt.

What we handle

  • Site survey, levels and soil assessment
  • Landscape design with a full planting schedule
  • Lawn development and turf laying
  • Sports turf and event grade lawns
  • Tree and palm plantation, including mature transplanting
  • Hardscaping: pathways, paving, steps, seating and water features
  • Drip and sprinkler irrigation with automation
  • Garden lighting
  • Scheduled maintenance contracts
Who we build for

Six kinds of property, one process

Bungalow garden with lawn by GreenLand Landscape

Bungalow and villa gardens

Front to back landscaping for private homes: lawn, planting beds, pathways, lighting and irrigation, designed around how the family actually uses the space.

Farmhouse landscape with planting beds by GreenLand Landscape

Farmhouse development

Large plot landscaping with orchard zones, shaded seating, driveways and lawn areas. Built to look established quickly and stay low maintenance.

Poolside landscaping at a farmhouse by GreenLand Landscape

Resort and hotel landscapes

Guest facing planting that takes daily footfall, with a maintenance schedule so it looks the same in season three as on opening day.

Corporate campus lawn and landscaping by GreenLand Landscape

Corporate campuses

Office and factory grounds, entrance landscaping and internal green zones, usually on an annual maintenance contract.

Party plot event lawn developed by GreenLand Landscape

Party plots and event lawns

Event grade turf built to take heavy use and recover fast, with drainage that clears after a monsoon function.

School and institutional campus landscaping by GreenLand Landscape

Schools and institutions

Play areas, shaded zones and campus greening, planted with species that are safe around children.

How we get it right

The six things that decide whether a landscape lasts

None of these are visible on handover day. All of them are visible in year three.

01

Soil before plants

We check drainage and structure first. Most failed landscapes in Gujarat are failed soil, not failed plants. Correcting it costs a fraction of replanting later.

02

Mature size, not nursery size

A plant that looks right at installation can be wrong three years on. Spacing is set for the size species reach here, so the garden fills in instead of choking itself.

03

Irrigation laid first

Drip and sprinkler lines go in before planting and before paving. Retrofitting irrigation means digging up finished work.

04

Heat and water reality

45°C summers and limited water rule out a lot of what looks good in a catalogue. We plant what survives here, with native and heat tolerant species doing the heavy lifting.

05

Levels and drainage

Where water goes in a monsoon burst decides whether a lawn survives. Levels are set so water leaves, rather than sitting on the root zone.

06

Handover that holds

You get a care schedule, not just a handshake. If you take a maintenance plan, the same supervisor returns on a fixed schedule with a written record.

How we work

Four steps, and we are still here after the fourth

STEP 01

Free site visit

We walk the site, take levels, check soil and water access, and understand how you want to use the space. No charge, no obligation.

STEP 02

Design and costing

A landscape plan with the planting schedule, hardscape detail, irrigation layout and transparent itemised costing. 3D renders available if you want to see it first.

STEP 03

Execution

Our own team and machinery handles earthwork, hardscaping, irrigation, turf and planting, with daily site supervision.

STEP 04

Maintenance

Scheduled visits covering mowing, pruning, feeding, pest management and seasonal replanting, so the garden matures instead of declining.

Capability

Machinery and mature plant transplanting

Some of what a landscape needs cannot be done by hand. Moving a mature palm, levelling a farmhouse plot, or laying turf across a party plot needs equipment and people who have done it before.

We handle mature tree and palm transplanting with a hydraulic crane, including root ball preparation, transport and aftercare through the establishment period. It is the fastest way to make a new landscape look like it has been there for years.

Earthwork, levelling, drainage and large scale turf laying are handled by our own team rather than passed to a contractor who disappears afterwards.

What affects the cost

  • Plot size and how much of it is being landscaped
  • Whether earthwork, levelling or drainage is needed first
  • Hardscaping: paving, steps, water features and lighting
  • Plant sizes at installation; mature stock costs more but looks finished immediately
  • Irrigation type and whether it is automated
  • Whether you want an annual maintenance contract

We do not publish a flat rate. You get an itemised quote after the free site visit.

Common questions

Questions, answered

Site survey and soil assessment, landscape design with a planting schedule, earthwork and levelling where needed, hardscaping, irrigation, turf and planting, lighting, and a maintenance plan after handover. You can take the whole thing or any part of it.

Both. Bungalows and villas, farmhouses, resorts and hotels, corporate campuses, party plots, schools and institutions. The process is the same; the scale and the maintenance schedule change.

A bungalow garden is usually two to four weeks. A farmhouse or resort landscape with earthwork, hardscaping and irrigation typically runs six to twelve weeks. You get a timeline with the design, before work starts.

Yes. We move mature trees and palms with a hydraulic crane, including root ball preparation, transport and aftercare through the establishment period. It is the fastest way to make a new landscape look established.

Yes. Lawn development, event grade turf for party plots, and sports turf. Species and drainage differ for each, because a lawn that takes daily footfall is built differently from an ornamental one.

It depends on plot size, how much earthwork is needed, hardscaping, plant sizes and irrigation type. We do not publish a flat rate because it would be wrong for almost every site. You get an itemised quote after the free site visit.

No. Site visit, levels, soil check and recommendation are free across all six cities we serve. We only quote after we have seen the site.

Yes, and this is where most of our long term clients are. Scheduled visits covering mowing, pruning, feeding, pest management, irrigation checks and seasonal replanting, with the same supervisor each time.

Heat tolerant and native species carry most of the planting, bougainvillea, frangipani, adenium, ficus, heat tolerant palms, ornamental grasses. Species that need cooler conditions are used only where shade and irrigation make them viable.

Yes. We assess what is worth keeping, fix soil and drainage, rework irrigation and replant the areas that have failed. Often cheaper than a full rebuild.

Yes. Photo realistic 3D renders of the layout, planting and lighting so you approve the design with certainty. See our 3D design service.

No. Designers, horticulturists and site supervisors are on our own payroll. The team that starts your project is the team that finishes it.

Some loss during establishment is normal. Under a maintenance plan we monitor and replace as part of the schedule. Outside a plan we advise on the cause and quote replacements separately.

Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Anand, Rajkot and Surat. Ahmedabad projects usually get a site visit within the same week; other cities within the fortnight.
