Landscaping and kitchen garden services in Gandhinagar

Bungalow gardens across the sectors, institutional campuses and GIFT City properties. Free site visit, scheduled within the fortnight.

Working in Gandhinagar

A planned city needs a planned garden

Gandhinagar is unusual for Gujarat: wide plots, generous setbacks, mature avenue trees and far more open ground per house than Ahmedabad allows. Sector bungalows often have front, side and rear space to work with, which changes what a garden can be.

It also means more shade. Established trees along the sector roads and inside plots cut direct sunlight, so the plant list here leans on shade-tolerant species rather than the full-sun palette we would use on an Ahmedabad terrace.

We work on sector bungalows, government and institutional campuses, and the newer development around GIFT City and Kudasan.

Where we work in Gandhinagar

  • Sectors 1 to 30 — bungalow and row-house gardens
  • Kudasan, Sargasan and Raysan
  • GIFT City and surrounding developments
  • Infocity and the institutional belt
  • Adalaj and Koba on the Ahmedabad side
  • Pethapur and the northern sectors

Not on the list? We cover the whole Gandhinagar area — tell us the locality at enquiry.

Local conditions

Shade, space and sector soil

The mature tree cover that makes Gandhinagar pleasant also makes it shady. We measure actual sunlight hours at the site visit, because a bed that gets three hours of sun needs a completely different plant list from one that gets seven.

Plot sizes here allow proper lawn areas and real planting depth, which most Ahmedabad sites cannot support. Where there is space, we prefer ground beds over containers — they hold moisture better and need far less watering through May.

For institutional and government properties we plan for low upkeep, because these grounds are usually maintained by staff rather than a contractor.
