Farm country, so we plan differently here
Anand is agricultural land first. Plots are larger, soil is generally good, and most of our enquiries here are farmhouse development and orchard plantation rather than the compact terrace work we do in Ahmedabad or Surat.
That changes the brief. On a farmhouse plot we are planning zones — approach and driveway, lawn and seating near the house, shaded areas, orchard blocks further out, and a working area you do not want guests looking at. Getting those relationships right matters more than any individual planting choice.
Because this is farming country, clients here usually understand plants and soil better than our urban clients do. We find the conversations more technical, and the expectations higher on yield rather than only on looks.

Water, soil and orchard planning
Water quality varies across the Charotar belt and it decides what an orchard can be. We test borewell water for salinity before recommending species, because a mango orchard planted on the wrong water will grow and never bear well.
Soil here is generally good and deep, which supports proper orchard spacing and mature tree planting. That is an advantage most of Gujarat does not have.
On farmhouse plots we plan the ornamental landscape and the productive area together rather than as separate jobs, so the driveway, the lawn and the orchard blocks work as one property instead of three ideas stitched together.
